Are you an experienced leader with a deep understanding of risk management in the banking sector? We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to join our executive team and lead our risk management efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework that aligns with the bank's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
Oversee all aspects of risk management, including credit risk, operational risk, market risk.
Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks to ensure the bank operates within its risk appetite.
Provide strategic advice to the board and senior management on risk-related matters and emerging risks in the banking industry.
Establish and maintain robust relationships with regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and international banking regulations.
Monitor and report on the bank's risk profile, providing actionable insights to drive decision-making.
Foster a risk-aware culture across the organization through training, communication, and leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is highly desirable).
At least 10 years of experience in risk management within the banking industry, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role.
Strong knowledge of local and international banking regulations, including Basel III and risk management frameworks.
Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), PRM (Professional Risk Manager), or similar are highly preferred.
Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
