Are you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in sanctions compliance? Join our team as a Sanctions Manager and play a critical role in protecting our bank from sanctions risks while ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of the bank’s sanctions compliance framework, policies, and procedures.
Monitor and analyze transactions to identify potential sanctions risks and ensure compliance with local and international sanctions regulations.
Conduct sanctions screening and oversee the resolution of alerts generated by sanctions monitoring systems.
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on sanctions regulations and compliance best practices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for sanctions-related queries and coordinate responses to regulatory or audit inquiries.
Stay updated on global sanctions developments, including OFAC, EU, and UN regulations, and assess their impact on banking operations.
Prepare detailed sanctions compliance reports for senior management and regulators.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Minimum of 6 years of experience in sanctions compliance, AML, or financial crime prevention within the banking industry.
Strong knowledge of global sanctions regimes (e.g., OFAC, EU, UN) and related banking regulations.
Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), ICA Certificate in Sanctions Compliance, or equivalent are highly preferred.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
